Does Biometrics / actual Visa stamping also need to happen within 3 months of endorsement email?

Hello!
I understand that Stage 2 submission on the website must be made within 3 months of the endorsement email.

Does the Biometrics or actual Visa stamping also need to happen within this 3 months timeframe?

(I ask this because sometimes unpredictable things may happen - like TB test taking a long time or delay in securing a biometrics slot; so does the biometric and the visa stamping also need to finish before this 3 months timeframe?)

@cosmic.wilderness you need to do the biometric appointment within 45 days from submission of stage 2 application with fee and enrolling for the biometric on the visa partner website.

TB test report comes the same day.

Thank you! I was getting worried coz I saw some Stage 2 discussions on our forum where TB reports were taking more than 2-3 months such as these:

  1. Hello, i did my tb test march and i was asked to carry out a sputum test which will take about 10 weeks. My CoS expires in a week time, but I've paid my visa fee, but haven't booked a date for my biometrics. Hope this won't backfire? Any suggestions?

Should be easy then! I did mine just 3 weeks ago for extension from India as well.

There are designated TB test centers which Home office has mentioned - they will only accept Test reports from those centers. It gets done within a day.
