I have seen similar rejections as well.
Well, the awards have been abused, if multiple applicants claim to have received the same award and the awarding board doesn’t have clearly selection process, it is usually not acceptable. As for the media, those who have diverse evidence and media that span across multiple years still get endorsed. I think the bar has been raised and as long as you clearly show you are a recognised leader with diverse evidence pull, you should be fine. Don’t give up!
